The VW really delivered. I took it down to South Wales with a couple of friends for what proved to be a very wet, cold and windy weekend walking. A pleasure to drive on the motorway! There was nothing better though than getting back to the campsite and putting on the diesel heater, making a coffee and warming up. It was really handy having those all-terrain tires as the campsite was basically a mud pan, while a few of the cars got stuck in the mud we had no problem getting in and out.

Renting this van (Jess) was a great move. We took our two boys, aged 2 and 5 camping in Canterbury and they loved it. It was too windy outside so we sat comfortably in the van and ate a meal cooked on the stove, and the real excitement for the kids came at bedtime when we dropped the top bed down and let them sleep up top.

The main rock and roll bed downstairs was particularly comfortable, so after a long day I slept like a log. There are a lot of nice touches with the van, such as the rear and side cameras, which helped us get into a tight space when parking and the induction cooker too.

I hired Jess from Mark to take my eldest son away on a road trip recently. She had everything we needed for a fantastic adventure that enabled us to bond and spend some wonderful time together. Enough room to cook, eat, relax or just chill. And the sleeping set up was perfect too. Memories were made that I hope we will both cherish. Thanks for letting us use your great camper van – we are definitely going to be doing it again soon!
