Who Are My Van Conversion?

I’m Mark and I setup My Van Conversion back in 2010 to share my passion for bespoke self-build campervan and motorhome projects. From complete van conversions, to small van upgrade projects, solar installations, lithium upgrades and more. I also provide campervan hire so you can enjoy experiencing campervan freedom in Jess my VW T6.

I’ve been enjoying campervans since I got my first VW (Scooby Doo) T2 decades ago and I self-built my first campervan conversion in 2009. Since then I’ve done a number of campervan and motorhome re-builds, upgrades and taken on a fully converted VW T6, which I’ve lovingly overhauled to transform into a truly off-grid adventure mobile, adding two solar panels and a host of other improvements.

Amidst all these builds and projects I’ve also been busy living the digital nomad life. I’ve stealth camped in Leeds for 9 months, traveled around western Europe, lived and worked in small campervans and big motorhomes too. In my blog I talk honestly about #vanlife, sharing what I’ve learned with you. Do I have all the answers? Nope. I’m just an enthusiast who wants to help support fellow seekers of off-grid freedom on the open road (and occasionally off-road). I have a passion for all freedom vehicles, whether they are motorhomes, campervans, new or old, big or small, coach-built or self-built. My saying is that “The van’s not yours until you’ve modified it” so I hope I can help you with your next project, whether it’s inspiring ideas, leasing you my van, sharing lessons learnt or helping you convert your van.
